COSMED announced today the introduction of its innovative flowmeter, X9, a multi-use pneumotach (lilly based technology) available for spirometers (Pony FX and Spiropalm) and for the modular pulmonary function equipment (Quark PFT). With flow range from 0.35 to 16 l/s, the X9 provides high accuracy at very low flow rates and extremely low thermal capacity (so avoiding condensation during expiration). Accurate, robust and easy to maintain, the X9 offers all features for the most demanding respiratory physician.
